Too Much Information is Keeping You Stuck
We live in a time where information is everywhere.
There is a coach for everything.
Business growth. Mindset. Sales. Marketing. Fitness. Productivity.
With a few clicks, you can find a million different strategies from a million different people, all telling you what you need to do to reach the next level.
And most of you?
You are drowning in information but starving for execution.
Is it possible to listen to so many different perspectives that you completely lose sight of what actually matters?
Is it possible to consume so much advice that it makes it harder; not easier; to make a decision?
Is it possible that chasing the next “best strategy” is the exact reason why you feel stuck?
Absolutely.
You see it all the time.
Entrepreneurs jump from coach to coach, from program to program, from trend to trend, hoping that this will be the thing that changes everything.
One week they are focused on paid ads, the next they are convinced content marketing is the answer.
One week they are all-in on hiring a team, the next they have convinced themselves they should stay lean.
One week they are doubling down on one offer, the next they are trying to launch five different services.
They jump from one method to another, chasing momentum instead of building it.
Then they wonder why they are spinning their wheels.
This is shiny object syndrome at its finest.
Too many business owners are learning from too many people at the same time.
They apply pieces of different strategies from different people with completely different business models and expect them to work together.
Then, when it doesn’t work, they move on to the next thing—and the cycle continues.
At some point, you have to ask yourself:
Are you learning, or are you just avoiding making a decision?
Because listening to everyone makes it damn near impossible to listen to yourself.
At the end of the day, it is your responsibility to filter what you allow in.
Not every strategy is meant for you.
Not every coach aligns with your vision.
Not every idea deserves your attention.
The only way to know what actually works for you is to get crystal clear on what you are building.
So I challenge you.
Grab a blank sheet of paper.
Envision that it is January 1, 2026. You are sitting with your loved ones, reflecting on the year you just had.
Write down five things that made 2025 an incredible year.
Write them down like they have already happened.
"I had an incredible 2025 because..."
What are they?
What do you want to look back on and say, “I made that happen”?
More revenue?
More time with family?
A stronger team?
A healthier body?
Those five things are your true priorities.
Now, ask yourself:
What are you doing today to achieve those five things?
Are you learning from people who align with the business and life you are actually building?
Or are you jumping from idea to idea, chasing someone else’s version of success?
Are you currently wasting time on things that will never get you closer to those five goals?
If something is not aligned, cut it.
Because the biggest killer of progress?
Distraction.
The next time you hear someone share advice, instead of immediately thinking, “I should do that”, ask yourself:
Does this align with my goals?
Does this support the vision I have for my business?
Or is this just another shiny object pulling me off course?
You do not need more information.
You need more execution.
Pick a lane. Filter the noise.
And go all in.
mm
